THE TDI ADVANCED NITROX INSTRUCTOR COURSE

This is the instructor level certification course for Instructors wishing to teach the use of EAN-21 through 100 % oxygen for optimal mixes to a depth of 40 m. The object of this course is to train Nitrox Instructors to teach the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for EAN-21 through 100% oxygen for dives not requiring staged decompression.

To take this course you must:

Be a Nitrox Instructor

Have a minimum certification of Advanced Nitrox diver or equivalent

Show proof of 100 logged open water dives

Show proof of 25 Nitrox dives

Must have certified 10 students in entry-level Nitrox

The course lasts at least two days with four dives with a minimum accumulated bottom time of 100 minutes. All dives must be deeper than 23m, with at least two dives deeper than 30m (If Advanced Nitrox is taught in conjunction with Deco Procedures, only six dives are required).
