THE TDI MIXED GAS INSPIRATION INSTRUCTOR COURSE

This is the Instructor level certification course for Rebreather Instructors wishing to teach the Ambient Pressure Inspiration Closed Circuit Rebreather with a mixed gas diluent.

This course is not required for current Inspiration Instructors (with a minimum of 10 students taught) who regularly teach Open Circuit Advanced Trimix courses (with a minimum of 10 students taught) for TDI and can verify points 5 and 6 in the pre-requisites listed below.

To take this course you must:

Have a minimum age of 21

Be an Inspiration Instructor in good standing with a recognized training agency and have been an Instructor member for at least 2 years

Be a TDI Extended Range Instructor or equivalent

Have a minimum of 250 verified logged dives (minimum of 100 Nitrox dives)

Certified as an Inspiration Mixed Gas Diver with at least 50 hours of verified dive time over a minimum of 30 CCR Mixed Gas dives. Fifteen of these dives are to be beyond 65m

Have taught on at least 10 complete Inspiration entry-level rebreather diver courses

The duration of the course depends on your previous experience. You must assist with one complete Buddy Inspiration Mixed Gas rebreather course.
